Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a wide range of daily banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, loan payments, cash advances, and check cashing
  • Issue cashier's checks and handle stop payments and wire transfer requests
  • Offer relevant banking services and products that meet customers' needs
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and ensure the safety of customer information
  • Operate basic banking technologies such as computers, 10-key calculators, copy/fax machines and telephones
  • Balance cash drawer daily with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Open and close new accounts and perform maintenance on existing accounts, assisting customers with a wide range of banking services

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and work with fractions and percentages
  • Comfort with technology, including proficiency in typing and computer operation
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to follow procedures with accuracy
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to four hours at a time
  • Capability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements
  • Ability to kneel, reach, bend, push, pull, lift and carry coin bags weighing up to 30 pounds
