Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, leading to the development of effective and personalized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor at Serenity Path Healthcare, you will work with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health challenges. This includes adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A deep sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach, essential for client engagement and support.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, crucial for efficient caseload management and meeting administrative requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Previous clinical experience in a community health setting or private practice environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client management.
