About the Role

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a driven and strategic Regional Account Manager to join our growing team. This unique role blends client-facing business development with the mission-driven purpose of healthcare recruiting. You will be responsible for managing a designated region, acquiring new healthcare clients, and recruiting top-tier Registered Dietitians to meet their needs.


Youโ€™ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, supported by a proactive inside sales team and modern outreach tools. This is a remote opportunity with clear advancement potential in a fast-scaling company that values clinical excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify and convert prospective healthcare facilities into long-term clients by leveraging internal sales tools and lead generation systems

  • Collaborate with inside sales reps to drive outreach, follow-ups, and client engagement across your territory

  • Manage the full sales cycleโ€”from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and contract closure

  • Track sales performance and client data in the CRM to inform strategy and support measurable growth goals

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruiting efforts for Registered Dietitians across levels of care, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating credentialing

  • Manage the end-to-end candidate lifecycle: job posting, interviewing, negotiating, onboarding, and performance follow-up

  • Maintain compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements by accurately updating the ATS and credentialing systems

  • Proactively meet weekly and monthly hiring metrics, ensuring top-tier placements aligned with client needs

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a high standard of responsiveness and service quality

  • Communicate regularly to anticipate needs, resolve issues, and provide staffing updates

  • Log all interactions and service-related activity in the CRM to support renewal and upselling strategies

Territory Strategy & Growth

  • Own your assigned region with accountability for both revenue growth and recruitment performance

  • Monitor regional trends, adjust strategies accordingly, and identify new business opportunities within healthcare networks

  • Align regional goals with company-wide targets and contribute to overall expansion efforts

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in healthcare recruiting, account management, or salesโ€”Registered Dietitian credential is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across clients and candidates

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to build trust quickly with both clinical talent and executive stakeholders

  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong sales & recruitment skills with the ability to effectively negotiate offers and close candidates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on relationship-building.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Word, Excel, and digital recruitment platforms, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Energetic, motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.


Education & Experience:

  • Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (preferred)
  • Proven experience or minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, recruiting, or customer service


Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel for national conferences, regional trade shows, and client meetings

Schedule: Full-time Remote, Standard Schedule, Salary Exempt

Compensation: $45,000 - $130,000+ per year (Base salary + a competitive, uncapped monthly commission structure.)
