• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, challenges, and strengths, utilizing appropriate psychological evaluation tools and methodologies.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to the individual.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, ensuring they understand mental health conditions and therapeutic progress, which fosters involvement in the treatment process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses to enhance service quality and stay current with industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

Winter Therapy, LLC focuses on serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, who are coping with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a counselor, you will engage with clients to develop trust and rapport, fostering a safe environment where they can share their experiences and work towards their therapeutic goals.

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.
• Current licensure in New York State as a clinical social worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or mental health counselor (LMHC).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
• Proficient technical skills in using EHR systems for documentation and client management.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral pathways to enhance comprehensive care for clients.
