You will be supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow social workers, who are all dedicated to providing exemplary care. • Conduct thorough client assessments that encompass personal history, mental health status, and psychosocial factors, leading to tailored treatment plans that address individual needs effectively.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy, to foster resilience and lasting change in clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and patient records to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA guidelines, while also facilitating effective communication among team members.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to create comprehensive care strategies, integrating input from other healthcare providers to enhance client outcomes.
• Offer education and support to clients and their families on navigating mental health challenges, coping mechanisms, and recovery resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental wellness journeys.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advances in mental health research and best practices, incorporating new strategies into your therapeutic approaches.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mental health issues and substance use disorders, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex co-occurring conditions. Clients may include adolescents, adults, and families who have faced trauma, and your ability to relate to diverse backgrounds and experiences will be crucial in developing trust and effective therapeutic alliances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license specific to New York State, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Proven experience in clinical social work practice, particularly with assessment, diagnosis, and formulating treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in using telehealth technology for remote sessions.

• Experience working in detox centers or with clients undergoing substance abuse recovery is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care methods and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities are preferred.
• Previous experience in a remote work setting can be beneficial to transition smoothly into this role.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
