Position Title: Director of Nursing (DON) – PRN Hybrid
Bilquis Home Health Care, LLC

Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of Bilquis Home Health Care, LLC. This includes ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to both field and office staff. The DON will collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of home health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall clinical leadership and oversight of patient care.
  • Supervise and support nursing and clinical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and update clinical policies and procedures.
  • Conduct case conferences with the team to ensure effective coordination of care.
  • Train new staff, both field and office, to ensure competence and compliance with agency standards.
  • Monitor patient care outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform clinical assessments as needed, including SOC, ROC, follow-up, and discharge visits.
  • May be required to cover field visits when staffing needs arise.
  • Serve as a liaison between the clinical team, patients, families, and physicians.
  • Participate in audits, surveys, and performance improvement activities.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the future as agency needs evolve.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in home health.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of home health regulations and standards of practice.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
