As a remote team member based in Augusta, Georgia, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists. Regular virtual meetings and team check-ins help maintain a strong sense of community and shared objectives.

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health issues and needs, ensuring a tailored and empathetic approach.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include specific goals for therapy and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster healing and growth.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create coordinated care strategies and address the full spectrum of client needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular professional development, including supervision sessions, training workshops, and peer review discussions to enhance skills and knowledge in clinical social work.
• Ensure compliance with legal frameworks and ethical guidelines of mental health practice at all times.

The primary focus of this role will be on clients undergoing detoxification, many of whom are dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will provide compassionate care to individuals at a vulnerable point in their lives, helping to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics that arise during the detox process.

• A Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Must hold a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work, particularly within mental health or substance abuse treatment settings.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike.
• Capability to work independently, while also contributing positively to team dynamics.

• Experience working in detoxification or substance abuse treatment environments is highly valued.
• Familiarity with integrated care models or collaborative care approaches is a plus.
• A background in crisis intervention and management will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
