• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identify strengths, and outline their unique needs and preferences.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, tailored to individual patient situations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and specialists to form a coordinated care plan, enhancing therapeutic outcomes for patients.
• Empower patients and their families by educating them about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, promoting informed decision-making.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing tested therapeutic modalities to support emotional healing and recovery.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, setting achievable goals in alignment with patient values and wishes.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, assisting them in navigating the mental health system effectively.
• Lead psychoeducational sessions and therapeutic groups, as well as contribute to discharge planning meetings to ensure seamless transitions of care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
