Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to ensure cohesive mental health treatment protocols are followed both within the clinic and through community resources.
  • Provide valuable mental health training and in-service education to our multidisciplinary staff, empowering them to better support patients’ needs.
  • Manage mental health emergencies by utilizing de-escalation techniques and ensuring patient safety is a top priority.
  • Participate in commitment hearings as needed, maintaining a professional standard in presenting treatment assessments.
  • Create detailed treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and measurable goals.
  • Document patient interactions meticulously to uphold the standards of care and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
  • Verify and assess patients’ mental health histories, evaluating their prior treatments and medications to formulate effective care strategies.
  • Prepare regular and special reports for internal use, contributing to overall clinic assessment and development.
  • Coordinate with nursing and other mental health staff to facilitate post-release referrals and ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning out of intensive services.
Patient Population / Client Focus
