• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs in the context of their recovery from substance use disorders.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and resilience.
• Develop and implement tailored service plans that reflect clients’ goals, with a focus on empowering them through active participation in their own recovery process.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and help them access essential community resources, ensuring equitable treatment and opportunities for all.
• Engage in ongoing program development and evaluation, using feedback and outcomes to refine our approaches to best serve our clients.
• Collaborate with a diverse network of community organizations, mental health professionals, and volunteers to enhance support services and ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in training sessions and community outreach programs designed to raise awareness about addiction and recovery, fostering a supportive dialogue around these issues.

Your clients will include individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders, as well as their families. Many clients may have complex needs arising from their experiences, including trauma and mental health challenges. The holistic approach you will employ aims to address not only the symptoms of addiction but also the underlying issues contributing to their challenges. By fostering a supportive environment, you will help clients reclaim their lives and promote sustainable healing.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Solid grounding in relevant social work ethics and standards, with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and advocacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and community partners.
• Proficient organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

• Experience working in a nonprofit or mental health setting, particularly with populations affected by addiction.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community resource networks.
• Prior experience in program development and evaluation methods.
