Work Environment

As a remote organization, we prioritize flexibility and work-life balance. Our outpatient office allows counselors to conduct assessments and therapy sessions from the comfort of their own space, minimizing commute stress while maximizing the focus on client care. Team members typically work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility required to accommodate varying patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess mental health conditions, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement effective therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the unique needs of each client.
• Establish and maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies to protect client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with an experienced treatment team by participating in monthly case consultations and peer review sessions, enhancing the overall quality of care.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, ensuring they understand mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available community resources.
• Stay current with the latest research findings and mental health developments to continually refine therapeutic practices and improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques with the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to the specific needs of individual clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex client needs proficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly in outpatient practice, is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) to streamline client documentation and care management.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities beyond CBT and DBT, which enhances client treatment options.
