• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify emotional and behavioral disorders, ensuring a clear understanding of each client's unique challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, tailoring interventions to meet clients’ specific needs and goals.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and group counseling sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to guide clients toward positive change.
• Teach clients essential coping mechanisms and self-care strategies applicable in their everyday lives, empowering them to handle life’s challenges effectively.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress through regular follow-ups and adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring effective care throughout the counseling process.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records related to treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health documentation.

The clients you will be working with represent a diverse range of backgrounds, facing various issues including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and other mental health challenges. The remote setup allows you to interact with clients from different geographical locations, thus emphasizing inclusivity and tailored support based on individual circumstances.

• A master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a professional counselor and strong compliance with state regulations is essential.
• Demonstrable experience providing individual, couple, and group counseling is critical for this position.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental disposition while engaging with clients in a compassionate manner.

• Experience with telehealth practices and platforms, demonstrating comfort in providing services digitally.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.
• Previous work experience with groups or populations facing specific challenges (e.g., trauma, substance abuse) is a plus.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year, dependent on experience and caseload.
