Crestwood Crisis Intervention Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. Work Environment

This role offers a unique remote work setting that allows counselors to connect with clients from the comfort of their own space. Our outpatient office serves as the operational hub where our dedicated team collaborates, despite geographical distances. We place a strong emphasis on work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. We recognize the importance of adapting to our clients' schedules to provide optimal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven modalities specific to our clientsโ€™ conditions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings that focus on improving clinical outcomes and sharing best practices.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, promoting understanding and empowerment through knowledge of treatment options and available resources.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research developments and advances in mental health care to ensure the incorporation of evidence-based approaches into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited school.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Demonstrated experience with solution-focused therapeutic interventions, applying appropriate techniques to adapt to the individual needs of clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for working collaboratively and efficiently with clients and team members.
