Remote Non Clinical Radiologist information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Non Clinical Radiologist, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Non Clinical Radiologist, you need a medical degree with specialty training in radiology, a valid medical license, and expertise in interpreting medical images. Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), teleradiology software, and standardized reporting systems is essential. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective written communication are vital soft skills for providing accurate consults and reports remotely. These competencies ensure precise diagnoses, efficient workflow, and high-quality patient care in a virtual setting.

How does a remote non-clinical radiologist typically collaborate with clinical teams and other healthcare professionals?

Remote non-clinical radiologists often work closely with clinical teams through secure digital platforms, providing expert consultation, second opinions, and supporting quality assurance initiatives. Communication is typically facilitated via video conferences, emails, or specialized medical software, allowing for timely feedback and information sharing. Building strong relationships with referring physicians, technologists, and administrative staff is essential, as it ensures efficient workflow and accurate interpretation of imaging data. While there is less face-to-face interaction, strong communication skills and responsiveness are key to effective collaboration in this remote environment.

What is a Remote Non Clinical Radiologist?

A Remote Non Clinical Radiologist is a medical professional with radiology training who works outside of traditional clinical settings, often from home or another remote location. Instead of diagnosing patients directly, they may focus on tasks such as consulting, research, teaching, medical imaging analysis for research or AI development, or providing expertise for insurance or legal cases. This role allows radiologists to use their expertise without direct patient care, offering greater flexibility and often better work-life balance. The demand for remote non clinical radiologists has increased with advancements in technology and telemedicine.

Job description

About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against "we caught it too late again".

We're growing quickly across North America and are looking for ABR-certified or board-eligible radiologists with strong MRI experience who want to join a forward-thinking team focused on proactive, preventative healthcare.

This role reports directly to the Associate Vice President of Radiology and is fully remote within the U.S.

This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future).

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people's lives!

Why Join Prenuvo

Prenuvo was founded by a radiologist who wanted a better way to practice—one that values quality, purpose, and flexibility.

Here, your time is respected, your work is supported, and your focus stays on what matters most: helping patients.

  • Fully Remote: Read from anywhere in the U.S. Prenuvo provides the workstation and full IT support.
  • No Call. No Nights. No Weekends: Enjoy predictable hours and true work-life balance.
  • Growth Opportunities: Leadership tracks and medical directorship roles.
  • Academic Support: Funding for CME and conferences, with opportunities for publishing and collaboration.
  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside ABR-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists in Body MRI, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, and Breast Imaging.
  • Smart Technology: Advanced MRI systems, AI-supported tools, and efficient PACS workflows designed to help you do your best work.

What You'll Do

  • Interpret Prenuvo whole-body MRI and preventive imaging studies, producing high-quality, clinically meaningful reports.
  • Communicate clear, actionable findings to patients and referring clinicians.
  • Participate in peer review, educational discussions, and continuous quality improvement within a collegial network.
  • Share urgent or unexpected results promptly and thoughtfully.
  • Uphold Prenuvo's standards for diagnostic excellence, compassion, and consistency.

What You'll Bring

  • Board of Radiology (ABR/AOBR) certification (required)
  • Active U.S. medical license (multi-state licensure preferred)
  • Strong MRI expertise; fellowship training in Body MRI, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, or Breast Imaging highly desirable
  • Good standing with applicable state medical boards and the ABR
  • Detail-oriented, patient-centered mindset and a passion for proactive, preventative medicine

Our Values

First: we are Pioneers

  • Transforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum. This journey is as challenging as it is rewarding.

Second: we are Platform-Builders

  • We're always building foundations that allow us to achieve tomorrow more than we did today. We never lose sight of what's ahead – in a mindset of ownership and duty to our mission.

Above all: we are Patients

  • We could all be the next person who walks through our very doors, seeking clarity or peace of mind. We are proud of our impact on our patients' lives, and we won't stop till everyone can benefit from our work.

What We Offer

  • An avenue to make a positive impact on people's lives and their health
  • We believe in preventative healthcare for everyone, including our team - Prenuvo provides free, whole-body scans to each team member
  • Growth opportunities are at the heart of our people journey, we're doing big things with bright minds - there is no single path to success, it can be shaped along the way
  • Building strong relationships is at the core of everything we do - our team gets together each week to connect, share, and socialize
  • Recognizing time away to restore is vital to our wellbeing - we have a flexible vacation policy and we will encourage you to use it
  • Prenuvo offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan to eligible employees, allowing team members to make pre-tax contributions toward their retirement. While Prenuvo facilitates access to the plan, the company does not currently offer matching contributions.
  • Employer-paid malpractice coverage; CME Reimbursement
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, including Mental Health coverage, to support you and your family
  • Compensation: $550,000 base salary plus quarterly bonuses tied to productivity and quality performance.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

As part of the hiring process, successful candidates will undergo a background check in compliance to applicable federal, provincial, and state rules.
