Job Description:
  • This role supports the development of technology solutions that empower community banks and credit unions to deliver streamlined, modern digital experiences.
  • As part of the Node/Identity team, this position focuses on building and supporting a first-class Identity Provider (IDP) and APIs used across internal and external products.
  • The engineer ensures applications remain current with modern development practices, enhances security, and creates tools and processes that enable internal teams to work more efficiently.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum 6 years of programming experience.
  • Strong back-end development experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, KOA, GraphQL, or Next.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with any of the following: CI pipelines, observability, monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture.
  • Experience resolving real-time service issues through monitoring tools and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform and sometimes lead system analysis and programming activities.
  • Provide technical support for applications from deployment through retirement.
  • Develop, test, and review applications based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Write and modify code following internal standards and best practices.
  • Review code from less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Work cross-functionally as required by project needs.
  • Lead or contribute to critical tasks, deliverables, and planning.
  • Participate in team and cross-functional meetings.
  • Create technical documentation.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to departmental standards and documentation.
  • Perform or lead unit and integration testing.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to product architecture as needed.
