As a senior full stack developer - Node/React in Progressive Life, you’ll work within a cross-functional team to build and scale our life insurance applications. You’ll provide creative direction and problem-solving for various projects at different stages of their life cycles. Using a modern JavaScript framework, you’ll develop new features, refine and maintain existing ones, and write unit tests and documentation for ongoing development and maintenance. You’ll work closely with designers, UX, product strategists, test engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding of the product. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the technical lead and other developers to ensure consistent and coherent architectural patterns across projects and Level20. You’ll leverage your experience to debug complex applications and optimize best practices.

Progressive Life began within Level20, Progressive’s growth incubator, where we built a term life insurance product and business from the ground up. After a successful launch and early growth, we’ve spun out into the Strategy group, now focused on scaling our products, capabilities, and impact. You’ll be joining the organization at a pivotal moment as we advance our transition to Agile delivery, leading the adoption and execution of Scrum practices across teams.

This is a hybrid role at Progressive headquarters campus, 300 North Commons Blvd, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143.
