• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of students in various school settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are closely aligned with students’ academic and social needs.
• Provide direct counseling and support services through virtual sessions, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for clients.
• Coordinate with educational professionals, including teachers and school administrators, to identify students in need of support and develop integrated care solutions.
• Advocate for students’ rights and access to necessary mental health resources, working collaboratively with families and external agencies as needed.
• Utilize electronic health records to document clinical sessions, track progress, and maintain compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in school-based mental health services.

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. Your work will focus on providing not only direct support to students but also training and resources for educators and families to build a comprehensive support network.

• Must hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted California state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• A strong foundation in social work theory and practice, with a specific focus on mental health interventions.
• Proficiency in remote work technology and digital communication tools, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work, particularly in school settings or with children and adolescents.
• Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic student care.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to children’s mental health services.
