You will engage in virtual consultations and therapeutic sessions with students, utilizing secure telehealth platforms to ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify students’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans informed by best practices and evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach to fit the specific contexts and needs of each student.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements so that we provide safe and effective care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes for students.
• Participate in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings to promote professional development and improve the quality of care we offer.
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to support their needs.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health research and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice to continuously enhance service delivery.

In this role, you will focus primarily on working with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. Your approach will center on understanding the unique experiences of each student, utilizing culturally competent techniques to foster an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical social work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to establish meaningful rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• A strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical clinical practice.

• Prior experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and assessment tools specific to children and adolescents.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention and support services.
