As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?
About This Role:
As a PrizePicks Manager, Social Media Manager - Gametime, you'll own PrizePicks' live, reactionary social media coverage around sports and culture's biggest events and moments. From cooking up buzzworthy, shareable content, to building genuine connections with our users, you'll be at the center of the action, playing a key role in shaping how our community experiences PrizePicks on social media during live sports moments. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes sports and culture, loves creating engaging content that's worth sharing in the group chat, and knows how to capture attention and convert that into loyal fandom.
What you'll do:
  • Help lead Gametime social strategy and content ideation around major leagues, including, but not limited to: NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, UFC, college football and college basketball.
  • Own live, reactionary social coverage, ideating, creating, and publishing share-worthy content that resonates with our users and sparks conversations across platforms, including, but not limited to: X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook.
  • Assist with community engagement across platforms, building and maintaining meaningful relationships with our users.
  • Actively monitor social media trends, memes, and cultural conversations to ensure PrizePicks remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Maintain an "always on" approach to social media, constantly tracking the player, league, team, and cultural storylines that matter to the PrizePicks audience, and surfacing insights that inform planning and execution across the full Social Media & Community team.
  • Support planning for integrated marketing campaigns and tentpole events, ensuring live Gametime coverage supports marketing and business priorities.
  • Conduct content and channel reporting to measure performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and inform future Gametime strategies.
  • Participate in strategy and campaign planning sessions, ideation sessions, reporting syncs, and other internal and cross-functional processes.
What you have:
  • Flexible scheduling. sports, social media, and our app are not a typical 9-5. This position will be staffed during evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with the 24/7 nature of sports.
  • Proven experience in live social media coverage and a demonstrated ability to create high-impact, rapid-turn content around live moments.
  • A strong editorial instinct - you understand cultural momentum, narrative arcs, and how to translate both into content that resonates on social.
  • Creativity and outside-the-box thinking - you're not afraid to take smart risks and try new unconventional approaches.
  • Deep knowledge of sports, especially NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, college football, and college basketball (bonus points for broader sports knowledge).
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their organic best practices, with a focus on X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads in particular.
  • Deep understanding of and engagement with internet culture and humor, and social-first formats.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced, robust, always-on content pipeline without letting balls drop.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and management skills. Experience managing direct reports is a plus.
  • Proficiency in creative tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and product, and the daily fantasy sports industry, is a plus.
