Remote NFL Operations refer to the behind-the-scenes work that supports the National Football League (NFL) from locations outside the stadium or league offices. These roles include coordinating broadcasts, managing data feeds, overseeing game-day logistics, and ensuring seamless communication between teams, officials, and networks. Personnel in remote operations use advanced technology to monitor games, provide real-time updates, and troubleshoot technical issues. This work is crucial for delivering a smooth viewing experience to fans and maintaining the integrity of league activities, especially when on-site presence is limited.

Job description

Market Operations Specialist
$70k - $90k • meaningful equity
About Novig
Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users.
With Novig recently becoming a CFTC-designated market - the fastest designation of its kind in US history- we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide.
We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors - Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana - who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision.
About the Role
You sit where sports meets markets. A star goes down in the third quarter, a trade rumor breaks at 11pm, a coach gets fired on a Tuesday - you decide what fans get to bet on and how fast it goes live. You shape the featured markets at the top of the app, take prop requests straight from the Discord, and list new ones while the conversation's still hot. You work when sports actually happen: game nights, Sunday afternoons, the overtime that runs past midnight. We're building sports prediction markets from scratch, and you get to decide what that looks like. This role lives at the intersection of trading, product, and sports with the opportunity to contribute at all levels of the business.
Who you are and what you will do
  • You're a sports fanatic with a trader's mindset, excited to work at the intersection of sports, markets, and technology.
  • You are a product-oriented thinker with a deep knowledge of major sports leagues-including NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAB, Soccer, and UFC-and understand the rhythms, storylines, and key moments that drive fan engagement.
  • You're excited to create and curate daily featured markets, highlighting the most compelling games and matchups and shaping what users see at the top of the app.
  • You enjoy designing creative markets tied to major sports storylines-from trade deadlines and free agency to coaching changes and player roles-and collaborating with marketing to maximize visibility.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, real-time environments, making quick, data-driven decisions as games unfold and trading activity shifts.
  • You're energized by engaging directly with a passionate community, interacting with users on Discord, gathering prop requests, answering questions, and helping bring new markets live quickly.
  • You're comfortable working during peak sports moments, including evenings and weekends, when the most exciting games and trading activity happen.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally with engineers, product, and support teams, sharing user feedback, competitive insights, and ideas to continuously improve the platform.
  • You're highly tuned in to sports conversations and trends on social media, helping ensure markets reflect what fans are talking about in real time.
  • Most importantly, you're excited to help build the future of sports prediction markets, creating engaging trading experiences for sports fans.
  • Bonus points if you have a technical background and are interested in building the automation tools that drive maximum efficiency and reduce manual workloads.

Why work here, in the words of the people who do
"I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships."
"The people! So smart, thoughtful, fun to work with, passionate about their craft, etc"
"I'm having the most fun I've had in my entire career."
If you want responsibility, trust, and the chance to help build the future of sports prediction markets - take your shot, we'd love to connect.
Not for everyone
  • Our work is tied to live sports - that means potential nights, weekends, and pressure included.
  • If you need clear swim lanes, a heavy process, or someone to tell you what to do, this won't be the right environment.

Compensation & benefits
  • $70k - $90k base, benchmarked at top-tier tech companies
  • Meaningful equity for every employee, regardless of role
  • 100% health premiums covered
  • 99% dental & vision covered
  • 401(k) with 4% company match
  • HSA + $1,080 annual company contribution
