Relationship Behavioral Health Services is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida. This full-time remote position focuses on providing high-quality mental health support in an outpatient setting, primarily aimed at veterans and their families. Your role as an LMHC will involve delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, as well as collaborating with primary care providers to integrate mental health care effectively within the primary care system.

This position is uniquely remote, allowing you to engage with clients across various locations while being part of a committed team. You will be part of the Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) program, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, primary care providers, and nursing staff. This role supports a culture of teamwork and shared expertise, emphasizing continuous professional development and supervision.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and ongoing evaluations for a diverse patient population to determine mental health needs and appropriate interventions.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on best-practice methodologies and the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Deliver brief, solution-focused counseling sessions to clients through various mediums, including telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for patients.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide updates and consult on patient progress, leveraging collaborative care principles.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Utilize data analytics to contribute insights on patient outcomes and identify areas for improvement within service delivery.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness and promote mental health resources available to veterans and their families.

The LMHC will primarily work with veterans, supporting their mental health challenges through evidence-based practices. You will engage with clients facing a range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. This role requires not only robust mental health expertise but also a deep understanding of the unique socio-emotional issues faced by military personnel and their families.

• A Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Proficiency in meeting the credentialing requirements for internal clinical settings.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals with substance abuse issues.
• Demonstrated capability in conducting assessments and providing both individual and group therapy.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with necessary software applications for clinical documentation.

• Previous experience within a PCMHI program or similar collaborative care model.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices or certifications relevant to diverse populations.
• Experience working in a telehealth environment or with technology-enhanced counseling tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural context, addressing individual patient needs sensitively and inclusively.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 60,000 and USD 95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
