As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Neuroscience Psychiatric Center, your day-to-day activities will revolve around providing high-quality psychotherapy to individuals facing diverse mental health concerns. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans according to established best practices.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the unique psychological needs of each client.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care for our clients, addressing all facets of their mental health.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions aimed at enhancing treatment quality and sharing knowledge.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, therapy goals, and community resources.
• Staying informed about the latest research and therapeutic modalities to employ innovative strategies in your practice.

Our diverse patient population includes individuals with a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. As an LICSW, your ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds and cultures will play a critical role in their treatment journey. You will provide compassionate care that respects each patient’s experiences and values.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience with a focus on delivering psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT and DBT.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative spirit and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

While not required, experience in hospice care or palliative mental health support would be beneficial, as our clinical setting frequently caters to patients facing terminal illnesses.
