As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead supportive and engaging group sessions to encourage client connection, shared experience, and collaborative healing.
• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide personalized, empathetic counseling helping clients navigate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Use assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to enhance client outcomes.

This role specifically focuses on young adults aged 18 to 30 within our outpatient treatment center. Many clients may be navigating significant life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, or struggles with substance use. Your expertise will crucially support them in overcoming these challenges through evidence-based and holistic treatment approaches.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and hold a valid LPC license. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to client welfare are essential attributes for this position.

While all encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in mental health counseling, especially in group and individual therapy settings. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and experience working with young adults will also be advantageous.
