Assignment Schedule & Unpaid Holiday Closures
This position is classified as Temporary, Full-Time, Non-Exempt with a standard Monday through Friday schedule. By accepting this temporary contract, you acknowledge the following practice holiday closures during the assignment term:

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Claim Lifecycle Management: Prepare, review, and submit clean claims daily through Open Dental to ensure rapid reimbursement.
  • Insurance Verification & Breakdown: Obtain detailed, accurate insurance breakdowns and input them cleanly into patient files.
  • Payer Liaison & Appeals: Proactively follow up on outstanding, unpaid, denied, or rejected claims, advocating on behalf of our practices.
  • Financial Accuracy: Audit aging reports, process co-pays, and post insurance payments with sharp, reliable attention to detail.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
  • State Residency: Must currently live and be eligible to work in Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, or Washington (required).
  • Software Mastery: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience navigating Open Dental claims administration (required).
  • Clearinghouse Tech: Familiarity with DentalXchange, Trex (Vyne), or other major billing clearinghouses is highly preferred.
  • Payer Communication Skills: Exceptional telephone communication skills and strong persistence when navigating insurance IVR systems and claims adjusters.
  • Schedule Alignment: Fully comfortable working consistent Pacific Time Zone hours.
  • Safety & Compliance: Successful completion of a routine pre-employment drug screening is required.
Position Overview & Temporary Status
  • Hourly Wage: $20.00 per hour flat base rate (payable bi-weekly).
