Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at DoCare Counseling Center, you will:

• Engage with clients through video sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to better their mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that allow clients to explore their emotions and life experiences, providing them with insights into their behavior and relationships.
• Act as a strong advocate for your clients, assisting them in defining achievable personal goals and working collaboratively on treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health conditions and craft tailored treatment plans utilizing your expertise and clinical judgment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, with administrative and billing tasks handled by our support team.
• Leverage our therapist portal to access resources, continuing education materials, and tools tailored to your specialty, ensuring continued professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At DoCare Counseling Center, our clientele is primarily made up of stable individuals who have been pre-screened for low acuity and urgent mental health needs. This allows our therapists to focus on providing ongoing support and guidance rather than crisis intervention, facilitating a more meaningful therapeutic experience and connection with each client.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possess an independent state-issued license, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong ability to independently assess, evaluate, and recommend treatment options based on your clinical expertise.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy and understanding to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, with a strong emphasis on computer literacy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in teletherapy or virtual counseling, as well as those familiar with diverse therapeutic practices, will be given preference. Experience working with clients from various backgrounds is particularly valued, as we strive to match our therapists with clients who resonate with their unique skills and perspectives.
