As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary role will focus on counseling both couples and individuals, as well as engaging with families as a whole. You’ll conduct initial assessments, create comprehensive treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic sessions addressing various challenges faced by family units. Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing individual counseling sessions to clients, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to their unique needs.
• Facilitating couple and family therapy sessions to resolve conflicts, enhance communication, and promote emotional healing.
• Assisting clients dealing with complex issues such as grief, job stress, medical health challenges, and adjusting to life events like divorce or separation.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and integrate mental health services with physical health support.
• Educating clients and families on coping strategies and techniques to improve their overall well-being.
• Documenting treatment progress and outcomes in a timely manner for compliance and care continuity.

You will work with a diverse client population including families, couples, and individuals, each facing unique challenges. Your expertise will help clients navigate:

• Substance abuse issues, including alcohol and drug dependencies.
• Family disputes and inter-generational conflicts.
• Grief and loss, providing support during times of emotional distress.
• Stress management related to job performance and personal life.
• Adaptation to changes in family dynamics, such as blended families and divorce.
• Communication enhancement and conflict resolution techniques.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• A commitment to clinical excellence and professional development.
