Developing the right security architecture for disparate environments demands a mix of technical expertise and strategic foresight. That's why we need you, an OT security engineer who knows how to craft and implement comprehensive security solutions for complex systems.
As an Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security engineer on our team, you'll develop your skills in conducting cybersecurity assessments, security design engineering, and threat monitoring as you perform quality control of processes and products, mentor junior system administrators, and produce and provide support to working groups and committees as a knowledgeable authority in the subject area. From resolving interoperability challenges to supporting hardware acquisition, your technical proficiency will play a key role in ensuring reliable networks that support critical missions. You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with network administration
  • Experience with maintaining Cisco networking switches
  • Experience with maintaining Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) OT-SDN switches
  • Experience with maintaining network cabling infrastructure, including copper and fiber cabling
  • Ability to take initiative and make recommendations on existing infrastructures
  • Ability to author, interpret, and analyze technical documentation
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • IAT II Certification such as Security+

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with network administration
  • Experience with maintaining VMware and Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines (VMs) and maintaining Network Appliance storage arrays or technologies
  • Experience with NESSUS vulnerability scanning
  • Experience in assisting with Security related or Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) matters
  • Knowledge of Operational Technology and Industrial controls systems
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Associate's degree
  • Net+ or CCNA certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
