• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for incoming patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and understanding of each individual's unique needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals and needs of patients, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Provide solution-focused therapeutic interventions, utilizing both group and individual counseling approaches tailored to clients experiencing substance use disorders.
• Maintain timely and precise clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists, to coordinate care and promote comprehensive treatment.
• Educate and provide psychoeducation to patients and their families on mental health issues and recovery strategies, fostering a supporting environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.

The primary focus of this position is on individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders, which often includes co-occurring mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, encompassing various backgrounds and age groups. This role is essential in helping clients navigate their paths to recovery by providing empathetic and effective support.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in solution-based psychotherapy methods.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential for effective patient interactions.

• Previous experience working in a substance use treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements specific to mental health practice.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation and community resource connection.
