This role often requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in network protocols and security.

How to become a remote network engineer?

The qualifications needed to start a job as a remote network engineer include a degree, job experience, and the computer and technical setup to access and monitor the network from your location. Employers prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science of information technology. You may wish to pursue voluntary professional certification, including becoming a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Job description

We're looking for a Product Marketing Leader to own Hubble's product positioning and narrative across our satellite and terrestrial connectivity platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and customers. It requires deeply understanding how our customers think about their problems, and translating Hubble's technical capabilities into stories and materials that genuinely resonate with them.

You'll be the person who understands our customers deeply enough to express their needs with clarity and precision, and then creates the positioning, collateral, and narratives that connect Hubble's platform to those needs in a way that feels obvious and true. You'll spend real time with customers, capture their stories, conduct research to sharpen positioning, and build the materials that help the sales and marketing teams communicate Hubble's value clearly.

This role is for someone who combines deep technical curiosity with genuine customer empathy. You should be equally comfortable digging into IoT architecture with engineers and sitting with a customer to understand how they actually think about asset tracking, connectivity gaps, or operational visibility, and then turning that understanding into messaging, collateral, and customer stories that the entire team can use

This is a FULL-TIME POSITION, and can be in Seattle (Hybrid work model) or Remote West Coast.

First Principles Engineering:  Have a strong understanding of the whys behind the whats; have the ability to extrapolate from first principles to complex system design

High Learning Agility:  Love to learn; have a grounded approach to recognizing your weaknesses and take the initiative to brush up on and sharpen your engineering foundations to better collaborate with your teammates with different backgrounds

System-Level Design and Analysis:  Understand the requirements flow down process and be able to quickly iterate on evolving requirements
Excellent Communication Skills:  Effectively convey ideas and communicate technical topics with engineering, build staff, and operations; run self-directed design reviews and participate in reviews of parallel systems
Anticipation of Needs:   Identify problems, think creatively, and rapidly produce reliable and cost-effective solutions to meet the ever growing and changing needs of an early-stage company

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own Hubble's product positioning and messaging strategy across all product areas (terrestrial network, satellite network, developer platform, partner solutions)
  • Comfortable presenting to prospects and customers when needed
  • Develop ICP-specific content and collateral rooted in real customer understanding. Materials that speak to how customers in logistics, agriculture, energy, and industrial IoT actually think about their problems
  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials (talk tracks, competitive comparisons, objection handling guides, solution briefs) that help the sales team communicate Hubble's value in the customer's own language
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, customer interviews, and market analysis to continuously refine how we talk about Hubble and identify what resonates with different customer segments
  • Lead pre-release and launch communications. Define the narrative, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and ensure product launches are grounded in customer value, not just feature announcements
  • Capture and tell customer stories. Document how real customers use Hubble, what problems they've solved, and what outcomes they've achieved, and turn those into proof points and case studies
  • Create and maintain product messaging frameworks, naming conventions, and team guidelines that ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure market signal flows back into product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Inform Hubble's go-to-market approach for new markets and product launches by bringing customer insight, segmentation clarity, and positioning recommendations to the table
  • Establish and track success metrics for product marketing initiatives tied to customer adoption, message resonance, and sales effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in a technical B2B domain (IoT, connectivity, developer platforms, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS)
  • Deep customer empathy. You naturally want to understand how customers think about their problems, and you're skilled at turning that understanding into materials that resonate
  • Track record of translating deeply technical products into clear, honest narratives that customers actually connect with
  • Experience shaping how a product goes to market. Not just executing playbooks, but contributing the customer insight, positioning, and messaging that makes the go-to-market approach work
  • Strong technical fluency; comfort engaging with engineers across satellite systems, wireless protocols, cloud infrastructure, and embedded devices
  • Experience with ICP development, competitive analysis, and sales enablement in enterprise or infrastructure-focused companies
  • Exceptional written communication. Can write a messaging framework, a customer case study, and a product launch brief with equal craft
  • Experience conducting user research and customer interviews, and translating what you learn into positioning that reflects how customers actually talk about their needs
  • Self-directed and autonomous. Thrives with ownership and minimal supervision in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
  • Passion for IoT, satellite networks, connectivity, or solving problems that feel impossible. You're drawn to hard problems with real-world impact
