Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring three Product Managers to join our Product team. 

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves-one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

As a Product Manager working in the Network domain, you will be focused on helping Oscar Health reach members in new states and counties by expanding our provider network nationwide. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to build technology to facilitate rapid and efficient onboarding of new providers, efficient and accurate compliance with local regulators, and smooth ongoing maintenance of locations and practitioners as local networks evolve. You will get the chance to work with the most capable technology team in healthcare and learn about the complex healthcare ecosystem from veteran business partners. We are currently hiring three Product Mangers to join the Network Product team. By applying to this job post, you will be considered for all three positions. 

You will report into a Product Management leader.

Work Location:

This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: San Francisco, CA. You will be fully remote; however, our approach to work may adapt over time. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area. #LI-Remote

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $135,792.00 - $178,227.00 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for product investments that power platforms.
  • Define OKRs and KPIs to measure business and operational impacts, and relentlessly identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations partners to gather insights on user needs and ship innovative functionality that improves operational and financial efficiency goals.
  • Articulate crisp and thorough requirements and clearly communicate them across stakeholders, incorporating data and user research insights.
  • Problem solve issues across teams to quickly diagnose root cause and move to resolution factoring in trade-offs on speed, scalability and quality.
  • Spearhead complex initiatives with ability to influence without authority. Manage timelines, cross-functional team accountability, and risk identification.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience collaborating cross-functionally among engineers, designers, operations experts, and others in a Product Management or Product Management-adjacent role.
  • 2+ years of experience in driving rigorous prioritization processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with tech systems and understand basic technology infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships, and leveraging database tools such as SQL.
