• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to enhance the assessment and treatment process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective positive behavior support plans aimed at improving client outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, improving access to resources for clients.
• Establish strong communication channels both internally and within the community to advance our mission and meet contract standards.
• Network with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote our services and explore potential partnerships or funding opportunities.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings, thereby contributing to your growth and the agency’s vision.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals facing emotional distress, trauma, substance use issues, and disabilities. Your role will be vital in establishing therapeutic relationships that encourage healing and growth. By employing person-driven programming, you will help clients navigate their personal challenges towards achieving independence and wellness.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Active LMHC license as recognized by the state of Washington.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and prepare detailed reports.
• Strong collaboration skills to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively express ideas and concerns.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities based on professional expertise.

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management.
• Knowledge of community resources related to mental health and behavioral services.
