Job description

Tygart is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) client in Clarksburg, WV. This is primarily a remote position with occasional onsite support in Clarksburg, WV. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Clarksburg, WV, to accommodate periodic onsite requirements. An active Top Secret security clearance is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing issues, and assessing their impact.
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize automated tools to support all components of data integration services.
  • Support and maintain web services and SFTP connections.
  • Develop and utilize various ETL products and other automated data integration tools.
  • Recommend and implement standardization across the data integration process.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade existing data integration projects, including the integration of new vendor solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience creating and maintaining data applications and tools that support the data integration process.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and assisting agencies with Web Services Description Language (WSDL), Java KeyStore (JKS), security certificates, and encryption usage.
  • Strong background in developing and troubleshooting software tools, applications, and utilities using languages such as Python, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), and JavaScript.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining computer systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.
