Title: Network Architect - Consultant

Duration:12 months

Remote Work Availability: 25%

Design public and/or private networks including LAN/MAN/WAN (local/metropolitan/wide area networks). Design work includes placement and specification of servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems. Serve as a liaison with network engineers, vendors, and other third-party providers in installation of network. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering. May have completed an advanced degree, certification, or additional professional training. Recognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices. Conducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organization. Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment. May mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed. Typically requires 7+ years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

THIS PROJECT IS FOR NETWORK TUNING FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE AND SECURITY. PROJECT WILL INCLUDE IMPLEMENTATION OF A DISASTER RECOVERY SOLUTION.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Submit daily status report to include findings, work completed, recommendations, and scheduled outages.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
SKILLED IN Active Directory , Office 365, Check Point, Brocade Switches, Disaster Recovery and VMWare.
CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH THE NETWORK ADMINISTRATION TEAM, PROJECT STAFF, AND THE USER COMMUNITY.
