Job description

About The Role
We’re seeking a sharp, trusted, and highly autonomous Enterprise Solutions Engineer to help drive NinjaOne’s expansion into the enterprise market. This is a builder role—your chance to shape how we engage complex accounts, scale technical wins, and define what great looks like in enterprise pre-sales. You’ll own the full technical sales cycle—from discovery and architecture through proof-of-concept and implementation—while partnering closely with AEs to influence deal strategy and deliver real-world impact. You won’t just run demos—you’ll build the playbooks, tools, and repeatable processes that help us scale. If you’ve done this before in B2B SaaS, thrive in high-stakes environments, and want your work to directly shape the next chapter of NinjaOne’s growth, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: We are flexible on remote work from home if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CO, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MD, NJ, NC, TN, & VA.
Priority will be given to applicants who reside in the following cities or are willing to relocate unassisted: Denver, Tampa, Raleigh, Charlotte, St. Louis Metro (IL residence required), *Chicago Metro, and Atlanta
Travel Requirement: ~30%, including strategic customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own the full pre-sales technical experience for enterprise accounts—guiding prospects through evaluation, product demos, architecture design, and proof-of-concept stages.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to drive growth and align technical value to business goals.
  • Partner with onboarding and Customer Success teams to accelerate time-to-value and ensure long-term adoption success.
  • Support the review and alignment of technical content within RFPs and RFIs without owning full proposal management.
  • Serve as a strategic voice between Sales and Product—surfacing feedback, identifying feature gaps, and influencing roadmap direction.
  • Build and maintain reusable technical assets including lab environments, demo flows, battlecards, and scripts to support a scalable AE-to-SE model.
  • Represent NinjaOne at enterprise-facing industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
  • Help shape the future of the Enterprise SE function as a founding member of the team, contributing to playbooks, processes, and cross-functional alignment.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Windows environments (registry, services, performance troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with Linux/macOS systems and basic command-line troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protections.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell, JavaScript, &/or VBScript is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable navigating complex IT ecosystems and integrating with existing infrastructure.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Highspot, or equivalent systems is required.
About You
  • 10+ years in a pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role supporting enterprise B2B SaaS customers.
  • Evolved from a technical background (e.g., TAM, support, systems engineer), with practical insight into IT operations at scale.
  • Strong communicator with executive presence—able to tailor messaging for admins, architects, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Brings deep domain knowledge in enterprise IT operations, RMM, endpoint management, and ITSM-adjacent platforms.
  • Understands how IT teams evaluate, implement, and scale solutions—along with insight into the limitations of legacy platforms and the shift toward unified, modern alternatives.
  • Known for high emotional intelligence, technical credibility, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Operates well in ambiguity and brings a builder’s mentality to scaling people, processes, and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, cloud architecture) are a plus.
