Position Summary

This position on the Network Analytics team provides the financial analytics to support network strategy for Aetna's largest national health system provider partners.

As a Lead Director, this role is responsible for:

  • Owning the relationship with the National Health Systems organization and advancing its strategic contracting goals and priorities by translating industry trends and internal and external data into actionable insights for Aetna's national providers.
  • Presenting analytics directly to national provider partners.
  • Leading the professional and technical development of one direct report.

This role also offers the opportunity to build in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and establish strong cross-functional partnerships with key business partners, including Network, MEU, and Commercial Actuarial teams. Additional areas of focus include emerging trend analytics, pricing and contracting support, and provider discount analyses.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience
  • ASA or FSA designation required
  • 5+ years of strong technical, analytical, and financial skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to network contracting
  • Programming (SQL, SAS, Python, R) experience
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
