Overview and Responsibilities
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Telecom System Administrator (REMOTE) to join our team. In this position you are responsible for support and management of in-house and hosted voice and video services, FAX and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) services and providers, and other Telephony related equipment and services. Ability to work after hours, on weekends and holidays as needed; on-call rotation required. Must live within the US. At this location, this position pays $75K to $80K BASE SALARY, depending on related experience, and is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments at the same time
  • Assists in execution of the overall project plan
  • Assists with network additions and change tasks such as computer installs and network infrastructure changes
  • Assists with system patches, service packs, and updates
  • Computer Operating System Administration as required
  • Coordinates with service providers in scheduling preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repair, and maintains records
  • Detailed knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and Unity
  • Ensures compliance with security policies and procedures for all systems administered
  • Experience with call center applications and operations
  • Isolates and resolves complex problems utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools
  • Maintains system back-ups and restores
  • Monitors system performance at both the hardware and software levels
  • Participates in the monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all voice and video hardware, software, and communication links
  • Performs necessary troubleshooting, diagnostics, research, evaluation, and documentation of various WAN/LAN/VoIP and Video communications issues and solutions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
