Job description

Lavendo partners with startups and high‑growth companies to help them hire top‑tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of our clients; we’ll share full details about the company and interview process as we get to know you and confirm mutual fit.

About the Company

Our client is a blockchain intelligence unicorn headquartered in San Francisco, CA. Over the past eight years, they have built the infrastructure that governments and financial institutions worldwide rely on to fight crypto crime — combining on-chain data, threat intelligence, and advanced analytics into a single AI-powered platform that detects and disrupts ransomware, terrorist financing, and financial crime in real time. In February 2026, they closed a $70M Series C at a $1B valuation, backed by Goldman Sachs, Thoma Bravo, and Y Combinator, with 150%+ annual revenue growth for five straight years.

The Mission

Our client was founded on a simple but urgent belief: that crypto's potential to transform the financial system shouldn't be undermined by the criminals who exploit it. They build the intelligence infrastructure that makes sure it isn't. Their platform is trusted by 600+ agencies and financial institutions across 75 countries — including the FBI, IRS, and Europol — to disrupt ransomware groups, terrorist financing networks, and financial crime at a global scale. Every integration you own contributes directly to that outcome.

The Opportunity

You'll join a lean SA team with full ownership of the technical client relationship — from first discovery call through live API integration — across a diverse book of federal law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, and crypto platforms in 75+ countries.

This is not a demo-and-hand-off role. You own the entire lifecycle: discovery, pilots, API integrations, training, and troubleshooting on an AI-powered blockchain intelligence platform that helps the FBI, IRS, Europol, and 600+ institutions disrupt crypto crime at scale. No silos. No hand-offs. Full ownership.

What You'll Do
  • Run discovery calls with federal agencies, financial institutions, and crypto platforms — mapping workflows and stakeholder constraints from scratch

  • Own the complete pre- and post-sales cycle: demos, pilots, API integration planning, testing, training, and troubleshooting

  • Build lightweight PoCs and prototype API integrations in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript to accelerate client onboarding

  • Act as the primary technical advisor for clients on products including the Beacon Network — translating complex requirements into actionable solutions

  • Feed client insights back to engineering and product teams to shape the roadmap directly

What You Bring
  • 5–10 years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Implementation Lead — in a role where you owned both sides of the sale

  • Hands-on API integration work: PoCs, integration docs, reference architectures, client implementations

  • Scripting proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript — you write code to solve client problems

  • You're actively building with AI tools — agents, automated workflows, Claude, Cursor — right now, not theoretically

  • Background at a recognizable high-growth startup or scale-up; you know what it means to operate without a safety net

  • Active U.S. citizenship required due to government clientele

  • Ability to work with EST timezone overlap (8am–5pm core hours)

  • Bonus: Experience in fintech, crypto/blockchain, Govtech, or national security

  • Bonus: You've navigated messy, poorly documented APIs and made them work anyway

Key Success Drivers

The people who thrive here are high-ownership operators — they run toward ambiguity, and take pride in the quality of their work even when no one's watching. They lead with intellectual honesty in client conversations, build to understand before they build to impress, and treat AI fluency as a core professional skill — not a résumé bullet.

The company's three Leadership Principles define the culture: Impact-Oriented Trailblazer (you move fast and measure what matters), Master Craftsperson (you take pride in doing the work right), and Inspiring Colleague (you make the people around you better).

Why Join?
  • Real unicorn momentum — $70M Series C, $1B valuation, Q1 2026 was their biggest quarter ever, 150%+ annual revenue growth five years running

  • Work that has actual consequences — the platform you support is used by federal law enforcement to disrupt ransomware groups and terrorist financing networks

  • Strong comp — $160K–$180K base + $45K–$50K variable paid monthly (not quarterly, not annually) + performance bonuses + competitive equity

  • Total OTE: $205,000–$230,000

  • Remote-first, for real — fully distributed team, strong async culture, no performative presence required; annual global offsites and hackathons with up to $100K in prizes

  • A seat at the table — as the 6th SA, your client feedback shapes product directly; you're not a cog, you're a core part of how the company grows
