Who were looking for
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team! This role will report to our Engineering Manager, and will be responsible for building great products quickly with the power of AI‐driven development, without sacrificing quality. They will be a key contributor to Ethena's growing product surface area and engineering operations.

What youll do
Develop full stack software using Typescript, MySQL, React, and Next.js.
Direct AI coding agent(s) to assist you in building great things quickly, while maintaining a production quality codebase.
Own features big and small from the idea phase through to production.
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, product managers, and members of the wider Ethena team.
What makes a great candidate
A hunger for building great software faster than ever using AI coding agents, along with an understanding of the pitfalls and how to avoid them.
A great knack for simple and elegant system design.
Deep expertise building and maintaining great web applications, especially in a B2B context.
Comfort with Javascript/Typescript, MySQL, React, Next.js, and AWS.
Extensive experience shipping agile software sustainably (Git, CI/CD, database migrations, logging & monitoring, infrastructure considerations, etc).
A self‐starter who thrives in a hands‐off management environment — someone who takes ownership of their work with a "roll up your sleeves mentality", is comfortable with ambiguity, proactively identifies problems and solutions, and drives their work forward with minimal oversight.

Above is the listed salary range for this role. Compensation will also include equity.
