Remote.Net Software Engineer II

Apex has an opportunity for a remote.Net Software Engineer II.

Position: JR.Net Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
  • Responsible for implementation of new features and enhancements to analytics processing engine and web applications
  • Responsible for client implementation of applications and production support
  • Responsible for build management, deployment process and delivery of quality software
  • Adhere to security standards and coding best practices, continuously seek for performance improvements and cost savings
  • Responsible for production support and support standalone client implementation, provide innovative solutions to fix client issues
  • Contribute to tech modernization migrating software to public cloud and Spark based processing
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in AWS/Azure using Jenkins
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelors in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft development stack (.Net C#, ASP.NET and MVC)
    • 1+ years of experience with Relational databases, MS Sql Server preferred
    • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Github, Maven, Ant
    • Good understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, agile and DevOps
    • Active adherence to engineering best practices including unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), continuous Integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and code reviews
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Healthcare domain experience
    • AWS, Azure or Spark experience
    • Experience with Java, Python

    Required Skills: • c#/.Net • ASP.Net - for UI - Trying to move to JavaScript based UI in the future. • Git • Jenkins - CICD - Can create pipelines from scratch. • Devops • Cloud - Nice to have (Some Cloud work on AWS) • Angular (Nice to have) - Moving in the future.
