Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health diagnostic assessments to determine client needs and appropriate services.
• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans, maintaining thorough documentation of diagnoses, treatment progress, and case notes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions through ongoing assessment and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide empathetic support and empowering guidance to clients as they address mental health issues and navigate cultural complexities.
• Collaborate with fellow practitioners to identify and fill gaps in community mental health services, ensuring all clients have access to the care they need.
• Employ creative therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients establish and exceed personal goals.
• Engage in regular supervision sessions to enhance cultural competence and improve overall therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse population, including individuals and families facing a range of mental health difficulties. The clients you will work with may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and cultural identity concerns. Your expertise as a marriage and family therapist will be crucial in fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships that lead to lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in providing mental health therapy, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
• Proficiency in managing a fast-paced, remote work environment and effectively handling diverse client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic setting or private practice.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and digital platforms for remote client engagement.
• Specialized training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
