New Path Health Care Center is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally proficient Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) for a full-time remote position. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to a diverse patient population, ensuring inclusive and effective care that respects the unique backgrounds of each individual.

This remote position offers flexibility alongside a strong commitment to patient care. As part of our community-oriented team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility as necessary to meet patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to patients' cultural backgrounds, utilizing established protocols to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient, ensuring inclusivity and effectiveness.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, incorporating individual, family, and group modalities to foster resilience and address various mental health concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations, utilizing strong crisis response skills to stabilize patients and connect them with appropriate resources.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and community resources, reinforcing their role in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices, ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
• Engage in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborate with colleagues on treatment effectiveness and client engagement strategies.
• Enhance your professional skills through continuing education and training, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in mental health therapy.

This role focuses on delivering services to culturally diverse populations, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants facing unique challenges. Your insights and understanding will play a crucial role in effectively addressing their mental health needs and ensuring equitable access to care.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.
• Active and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• Demonstrated understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, with a specific emphasis on cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
• Proficient in delivering therapy services through individualized and group approaches that reflect respect and understanding for diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications relevant to clinical documentation and patient management.
• Commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries along with patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct mental health counseling experience, particularly within diverse cultural settings.
• Experience in conducting group therapy and family therapy sessions tailored to the needs of multicultural populations.
• Prior engagement with crisis intervention practices and emergency mental health services.
