Position Overview

New Path Health Care Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, who is either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This remote position provides a unique opportunity to work within a community health clinic dedicated to delivering empathetic and culturally responsive mental health services to diverse populations.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance while still maintaining a strong commitment to patient care. Our organizational culture emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and support among team members. The therapist will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, generally between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the scheduling needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique experiences, challenges, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusted for the cultural and personal backgrounds of each patient.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing a range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience among clients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case conferences, peer supervision, and professional development workshops focused on cultural competency.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic practice.
• Proven experience providing culturally responsive individual and group therapy.
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital documentation tools.
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a community health or outpatient setting.
• Experience with telehealth service delivery and technology.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or advocacy programs that aim to support underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. New Path Health Care Center offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
