Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs. Utilize this data to create tailored treatment plans that focus on their individual circumstances and preferences.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, employing a range of methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing to effectively address various mental health concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers, to ensure that clients receive well-rounded and cohesive care that addresses their comprehensive needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients who are experiencing acute distress, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations.
  • Engage in outreach programs and community initiatives that raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and promote resources available to assist individuals in need of support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will serve a variety of clients, each with unique backgrounds and mental health concerns. Our diverse patient population ranges from children and adolescents to adults and elderly individuals, some of whom may be facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role offers you the chance to enhance your clinical expertise and cultural competence by working with individuals from a wide array of ethnicities and socioeconomic statuses.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building and therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse client groups, ensuring equitable and effective treatment for all.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate client records and documentation in a timely manner.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings is preferred, demonstrating adaptability to virtual patient care.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and their application in different clinical scenarios.
  • Proven experience providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in acute distress, particularly in a remote environment.
