Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine clients' needs and establish rapport.
  • Gather comprehensive patient history and identify presenting issues through active listening and empathy.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to each clientโ€™s specific needs and therapy goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that include psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including structural family therapy, strategic interventions, and narrative techniques, to facilitate effective counseling.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance service delivery and support your professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals, couples, and families from varied backgrounds facing emotional and relational challenges. Our client population may include those dealing with anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, and other mental health issues. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience post-licensure in a mental health setting, particularly with family therapy.
