Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at NineTwoThree, you will drive exciting digital product work with a fast-paced and technology-forward team, taking leadership for concept and launch of half a dozen new client products every year. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will effectively serve as the client's Head of Product, quickly gaining a deep understanding of their business and the needs of their end users. You will work closely with clients to transform their vision into a clear actionable roadmap for their digital web, mobile, or AI product.

You will then use that roadmap to define precise requirements for each key milestone toward a useful product release. Collaborating cross-functionally with our internal teams-design, project management, engineering, and QA-you will guide products from concept through to launch. NineTwoThree moves fast, and you will work with the team to ensure projects stay on track and within scope, while also helping clients adjust priorities, align expectations, and make necessary trade-offs when challenges arise. You will also work across several clients, flexing and building product muscle in various domains, business models, and systems - an enormous professional development opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 2 to 3 active clients and projects simultaneously, maintaining a clear understanding of project status, timelines, and identifying any potential blockers that require attention.
  • Research the client's market to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for differentiation
  • Work with the client and additional stakeholders to understand their product vision and define requirements for the full initial product scope
  • Work directly with product designers to translate client requirements into intuitive, user-friendly designs and ensure seamless integration with the development process
  • Define user stories and requirements for project managers to implement into tasks and acceptance criteria for development and QA
  • Lead weekly client meetings to provide updates, discuss project progress, and demo development milestones.
  • Manage client expectations, including facilitating difficult conversations around scope and prioritization to ensure that budget and timeline requirements are met.
  • Support sales activities by joining prospect calls and writing proposals, scoping documents, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage opportunities to up-sell clients on additional product features, marketing services, or ongoing maintenance and support contracts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager of digital products (SaaS, mobile, web, AI, etc;
  • Strong experience with relationship management, either in a client-facing role or with executive-level stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and project teams;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic product-development environment;
  • Attention to details, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and critical-thinking skills;
  • Located in the EST time zone (or adjacent, and able to overlap the European team at least between 8am-1pm Eastern);
