Job description

Aldridge Pite Haan, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed in California to handle consumer collection litigation. This is a fully remote position with no billable hour requirement.

The firm covers California bar dues, CLE, and admission to additional state bars. Attorneys work closely with support staff and firm leadership in a collaborative environment.

The Role

You will manage a consumer collection docket from filing through resolution, including reviewing and approving pleadings and motions, handling court appearances, and coordinating with support staff and other attorneys. The position carries an active caseload and rewards attorneys who can move matters efficiently while maintaining compliance with applicable law and firm standards.

Required

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to practice law in California, in good standing
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in collection litigation (consumer and/or commercial)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
  • Working knowledge of the FDCPA and the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred

  • Admission to practice in additional states
  • Spanish language proficiency
