Job Summary The role oversees the development and execution of marketing assets and programs supporting Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans (BCBS). It leads or supports the planning, development, and implementation of marketing and communications that differentiate BCBS among key stakeholders—including business decision-makers, influencers, members, and thought leaders. Understanding complex business needs and aligning marketing strategies to overall project goals is essential for success. Responsibilities Support copywriting and creative direction for marketing deliverables such as presentations, collateral, and digital content. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics for BCBS national programs. Facilitate the B2B Marketing Collaborative. Respond to ad‐hoc internal and plan requests promptly, maintaining leadership in tracking work and reporting results. Maintain fresh content on the Sales Support Toolkit by soliciting or creating new material, posting updates, and tracking quantifiable results. Participate in brainstorming for large‐scale, team‐based projects. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, new media, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of marketing/communications planning and implementation experience, preferably in healthcare. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Project management skills. Strong oral and written communication abilities. Demonstrated analytical and problem‐solving skills. Ability to develop and execute results‐driven communications that promote business strategies. Knowledge of grammar and composition principles for effective writing across diverse audiences. Preferred Experience Experience writing across websites, multimedia, and print/online collateral. Experience collaborating with internal business partners to align key messages. Promotional writing skills. Background in content marketing. Relevant industry experience, such as marketing/sales support at a health‐care/insurance company, consultancy, brokerage, or similar finance/financial services role.
