Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to communicate clearly across digital platforms are essential soft skills for success. These abilities enable effective property oversight, support efficient remote team collaboration, and ensure high tenant satisfaction from a distance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for a designated territory and appraisal team.
  • Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance for appraisal reports by reviewing and approving work completed by Certified General and trainee appraisers prior to submission.
  • Stay current on industry regulations and ensure appraisal reports comply with applicable standards and company requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to support business development and relationship management by maintaining existing client relationships, re-engaging inactive clients, managing inbound inquiries, preparing proposals, conducting client reviews, and representing the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Establish and cultivate new client relationships through networking, outreach, and industry engagement.
  • Contribute market insights and thought leadership through LinkedIn and other industry publications.
  • Provide feedback to enhance existing and future company software and technology solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of commercial and/or multifamily real estate valuation experience.
  • Active Certified General Appraiser license in good standing required.
  • MAI designation preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with experience in commercial real estate valuation or underwriting.
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate data platforms such as CoStar, RealPage, Yardi, ESRI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
  • Strong business writing, editing, and grammar skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, prioritize work, and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Interest in real estate technology (PropTech) and multifamily real estate.
  • Experience or interest in data science, statistics, analytics, or software programming preferred.
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders

This position has an estimated base salary of 150,000-175,000plus commissions. An employment offer is based on the applicant's relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
