The role is based within an outpatient office setting, while offering the flexibility of remote work. Our practice utilizes advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and communication. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients during initial consultations to evaluate mental health conditions and establish rapport.
• Create individualized therapy plans informed by evidence-based practices, tailored to address the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions, conducting individual and group therapy to facilitate recovery and personal growth.
• Equip clients with practical tools and techniques, designed to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists, when necessary.
• Document session notes and treatment progress meticulously within our EHR system, maintaining comprehensive records of client interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a collective approach to patient care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will encounter a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in creating inclusive and culturally responsive treatment plans, addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. By fostering a safe and supportive space, you will empower clients on their journey to recovery.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapeutic settings.
• Proven ability to deliver both individual and group therapy using client-centered approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with an ability to navigate challenging situations with composure.
• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and other technological tools for enhanced practice management.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical boundaries and strict confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in a remote counseling capacity, familiar with telehealth practices and digital communication platforms.
• Previous work within community mental health settings or outpatient therapy environments.
• Demonstrated success in contributing to treatment plan development and patient outcomes.
• Participation in ongoing professional development, workshops, or advanced training in specialty areas of mental health.
