You will operate within the school-based mental health setting, where you will often collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support the diverse needs of students. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique mental health needs of your patients, developing tailored treatment plans grounded in best practices.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employ solution-focused techniques, and adapt your approach based on individual patient requirements to promote recovery and resilience.

• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, counselors, and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated care for students.

• Engage actively in case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights, enhance care quality, and foster a spirit of continuous learning.

• Educate and empower patients and their families about mental health, providing valuable resources and support to navigate challenges effectively.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mental health treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and promote best practices within the clinic.

Your work will primarily involve supporting students ranging from elementary to high school, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in creating safe spaces for open dialogue around mental health and advocating for student needs within the educational system.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, with a focus on providing psychotherapy, preferably in a school setting.

• Proficient in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and able to adapt interventions to meet diverse patient needs.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Experience working directly with children and adolescents in a therapeutic capacity.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems to facilitate remote care.

• Prior involvement in community outreach or school-based mental health initiatives.
